"We loved the way Adrienne captured the essence of our bedroom vision by weaving together the right fabric, textures, color palate and general architectural fit for the room.

Everything came together in a very complimentary way and has made for a magical environment that we continue to enjoy every day."

This client was introduced to me through Sandpipers Holiday homes tour 2008. They requested Studio blu to design Master bedroom, Husbands Media room, and Teen daughter's room.

Client had recently purchased an expensive side table for Master bedroom so they requested to keep in new scheme. Also they loved the wall color they choose prior to meeting us, so Kachki wall color was to remain but they were open to accent paint colors. For Room inspiration they gave me a silk piece of fabric that client had purchased from her travels to Asia. This fabric was used on the bedding as an accent pillow.

The Husbands media room was requested to be "all about him". His professional vintage basketball photos were never displayed because he didn't know what frames worked best or how to place them. The challenge were the quite high ceilings and small sq. footage. He wanted a sofa to fit in there that he could take a nap on, and for the room to be cozy, earthy and masculine. Felt fabric wall paper was added that started above the picture rail and continued on the ceiling. Below the picture rail was added bamboo wall paper to give the room warmth and texture. I framed his photos and hanged them from the picture rail. Texture and interest on the walls and layered rugs helped with sound and gave the room a cozy feel. Sofa was custom made and eco friendly. Asian media center was purchased to blend with the contemporary Asian bones of the home.
